I thought I’d try a witty title, yeah? With work and WiFi having been terrible at home for the past few weeks, I haven’t been quite the best at organizing and uploading album photos to Facebook. Now that the WiFi is more stable, I’m trying to get rid of photos from my phone to clear up storage and I came across these and realized I haven’t blogged about this really cool, modern and dynamic fine art gallery I visited over a month or so ago. Most of the artwork featured at Eden Fine Art had very strong and bright colors. Their collections of artwork, photographs, and sculptures are from select leading international artists!
Some feelings of nostalgia kicked in.The Beatles!
Book of Love (right), a free standing metal sculpture up for sale at $19,900 by David Kracov. He uses such a vibrant color palette.
This is Flore’s (Christopher Florentino) graffiti room. Flore is a Brooklyn-based painter who paints with a purpose to deconstruct societal influence and filters and create a simpler and more satisfying experience.
In this day and age, we all get stuck. Mundane habits. Subconsciously feeding into stereotypes. Blindly following rules. Flore aims to strip away all of that and he does it so beautifully with his use of color and depth.
And more incredible work…
Shout-out to a friendly, welcoming Alex, whom we had the pleasure of chatting with during our visit and was kind enough to give us a tour around. He allowed us to go upstairs and view more artwork. Eden Fine Art gallery is now the largest gallery in Manhattan with over 25,000 square feet distributed over four floors.
And now for some of my favorites…exclusive awesome series of clever out of the box sculptures hand-painted crushed marble work done by David Kracov located on the wall behind the Beatles sculpture. You can, unfortunately, see me in the background of some of these photos below. I’m working on getting a nice camera. In the meantime, let’s enjoy a few!
Well, I’m at the end of my rope here now. This art gallery is definitely worth checking out! Many more posts coming soon, stay tuned 🙂
