I’m back from Hong Kong (been back for almost two weeks now) and am ready to get back into blogging on a consistent schedule!

Influenster sent me their Laneige Water Bank Vox Box two months ago (thanks so much!) for testing purposes and I have been using Laneige’s Water Bank Hydro Essence Serum and the Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream ever since. This is my first experience with this product and I am in love. I even brought these two products with me to Hong Kong for three weeks! Here’s a quick review on these two products. One thing’s for sure: I LOVE THESE TWO PRODUCTS.

Laneige Water Bank Hydro Essence

First impressions? The glass bottle is beautiful and looks extremely elegant (it is a blue gradient bottle with a pump dispenser). The packaging of this bottle was also in a pretty blue box. The back of the bottle tells you what the product intends to do, what the benefits are, and the directions for applying the product.
Benefit: Replenishing + hydration
What this product is: “A lightweight green drink for your skin with Kale Leaf, Watercress and Beet Root, this essence delivers refreshing, long-lasting hydration.”
1. Green mineral water is extracted from vegetables to help charge the skin with moisture.
2. This product is a moisture bomb. Their “water splash” formula moisturizes the skin upon application.
3. Green mineral water strengthens the tight junction in the skin, acting like a “water zipper” to prevent moisture from evaporating from the skin.
Directions: Gently spread from center of the face outward after toner. Press palms onto face for better absorption.

I was in Hong Kong (humidity and heat galore) and this did not make my skin oily at all. My skin was smooth and felt fresh all day. I also haven’t used foundation in the longest time, and this essence keeps my skin clear and moisturized that I never even want to think about applying foundation (that and because I don’t have one and don’t want to spend money buying one either–the goal here is to maintain clear skin and be comfortable in my skin without it). Just thinking about applying this on my face after cleansing excites me.

This essence is suitable for all skin types and this bottle contains 70mL (2.3 fl. oz.) and lasts a long time! With sensitive skin, I am picky with products I use, but I’ve been using this product for the past two months, and nothing has felt better. I still have over half the bottle left (I use about two pumps every time). This essence has a mild water consistency and easily absorbs into your skin. It feels SO refreshing.

Final verdict: LOOOOOOOVE IT! The only downside is that this product is a bit pricey as it retails for roughly $39.
+ There is a light perfume/lotion scent to this essence. I know some people prefer their products to have zero fragrance, but this one is truly pleasant.
+ This essence absorbs into the skin quickly, isn’t sticky/greasy, and is super light! Although it’s light, it packs a powerful punch. This has actually been so great for the summertime. Such great timing, Influenster 🙂
+ This product gives my skin a dewy and clear look…gotta love it. My skin feels incredible. Such a win. This is going to be a staple for my skin.

Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream

First impressions? Why are these two Laneige products so beautiful inside and out?? The glass jar goes from this blue gradient on top to white at the bottom of the jar. It has a luxurious feel to it and is without a doubt, pleasing to the eyes. The fragrance isn’t overpowering and smells rather fresh. The texture of the cream is thick and looks like it’d last a while (and I am right on that!).

Oh man, this is my new holy grail moisturizer. This cream contains extracts from brussel sprouts, artichoke and lima beans, which combine together to strengthen the defensive barrier and keep skin hydrated throughout the day. This moisturizer spreads effortlessly, has a pleasant fragrance, and leaves my skin feeling so good aka hydrated, balanced and ultra smooth. This cream is a bit thicker so some people may choose to use this strictly at night. I have used it in morning as part of my routine, but that’s solely up to you.

Final verdict: Yesssss! I love how this moisturizer makes my skin look and feel! My face feels happy, supple, and hydrated.
+ A little goes a long way! This moisturizer is the epitome of that saying.
+ I wish I had taken photos of myself before using the product. You would probably see a difference. I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this product. I hope this post has been apparent enough.
+ The price isn’t the cheapest, but I think it’s a product I would invest in.

I am a huge fan of these two products and 10/10 recommend. The hydro essence drenches your skin in essential moisture to prevent water loss and helps to boost the hydrating benefits of the Water Bank Moisture Cream. Such a fantastic duo.

Hope you’re having a wonderful day/night! ✨
