Hi, I’m Sylvia and I’m so happy you’re here! I’m a lifestyle blogger from New York who seeks to empower myself and others to embrace who we are, to be more confident + authentic, and live a life that we’re remarkably proud of (and if we’re not happy with where we are, to proactively do something about it). I am a self-care, style, and skincare enthusiast who loves talking about self-growth, good finds, and thoughts about life!
I hold a BA in Psychology and Economics and am a couple of courses away from completing my MS in Human Resource Management and Development (concentration in organizational effectiveness and leadership) at New York University. I’ve always had a deep passion for learning, reading, writing, sharing knowledge, and a love for spreading good energy in hopes that I could make others feel less alone and more confident.
Believing in yourself, accepting yourself, caring for yourself, and loving yourself can change everything. Self-improvement, self-care, and self-confidence never run out of style. Of course, I’m still learning as I go through my own personal journey, so I welcome you to discuss, learn, grow, and share with me and with one another.
When I’m not blogging, schooling, or working, I enjoy curling up with a good book, journaling and doodling, singing, catching up on shows and movies, kickboxing, exploring new places (coffee shops, museums, etc) and gaining new perspective and experiences, sipping on bubble tea/smoothies, and seeing/petting dogs and losing my cool. I also get incredibly animated over planners, stickers, succulents, and some good ol’ puns and dad jokes.
I really hope that you are able to find something interesting, helpful, or new to take away with you. I welcome you to disagree with me. This is not an attitude, challenge or a dare…I really love hearing what you have to say. If you leave my blog feeling a bit less alone, more inspired, informed, curious, or empowered, then I have succeeded in what I have set out to do.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know me! Please contact me at any time with whatever thoughts or questions you may have!
